I think I'm comfortable with "evil" as a descriptor for someone so sanctimonious and judgmental that they can choose an abortion for themselves with no qualms but will still judge every other woman who needs an abortion. You ain't holy, honey -- you performed the same act as any other woman in there, whether willing or unwilling. If you should be treated with care and compassion, then so should every other woman, not harassed by bigots with bloody signs outside the clinic.

And I'm certainly comfortable with "evil" for men on the radical right who want to remove all autonomy and rights from women. Where the hell did all this hate crop up from, anyway. 20 years ago we were headed toward more rights for women, not keeping them barefoot, pregnant, and in the home.

But if they're on the sidelines, waving poster-size pictures of mutilated fetus parts, and claiming that that's what each and every abortion does, calling women who have them evil and slutty and destined for hell--then they're just puppets of the men shouting behind them. And if they take that one step further, and have an abortion themselves...and don't see how that connects to their own lives? Yeah, they're doing damage willfully and deliberately. By my standards, that's evil ( ... )
