Today, I attempt the seemingly impossible: I have boiling potatoes. I have mayonnaise. Somehow, I will turn these two ingredients into potato salad!

You should actually be able to buy soy wrappers at your local grocery store that aren't cones. I've gotten them at my local Fred Meyers for onigiri for E. She dislikes nori intensely. In furikake or as wrappers, so we use a low salt seasoning salt mix I made with lots of green and red (herbs, cayenne, and paprika) and soy wrappers. I keep extra soy wrappers and scraps of nori in separate gallon bags to keep them usable and then I can use a craft punch to punch cute shapes out and put them on Mike's rice. So he gets really annoyed with me because he doesn't think 300 lb men should have to eat cute food.

Oh, now see, that sounds like way too much fun.

Recently, I admit, I am becoming drawn to the dark side...Hello Kitty has bento boxes. Any moment now, I shall snap and suddenly, one day, Cat will look down and say "Why is my sushi rice staring at me?"

Damn. That's hysterical.

I swear, we move, and I'm just going to explode somehow. I want bento boxes and another sushi-roll set, because between that and the sauces and the rice cooker? We would be so set for bento!
