Useless body parts

Hey, some of us USE things like our monkey toes! :) I know someone who just had their neck rib removed - thoracic outlet syndrome is what they're calling it - and hey, I can wiggle my ears, too. :)

I can't wiggle my ears, I've never tried, but I can pick up pencils, marbles, and the occasional magazine with my toes. :) My aunt was born with four extra ribs, all just above her collarbone, and she had horrendous neck problems for years because of it.

I do think nature rolls the dice a lot, for what works and what doesn't. Some mutations work out, some don't.
