gee, it's too bad people have already been so whiny and spammy as to piss off the majority of the community - fannish, gay, straight, whatever - who they think they're representing. see statements, et. al. who are promising 9000 posts each within the 'strike' time out of pure eyerolly.

it's also too bad no one is willing to take the actions that actually make a difference.

they made over 9000 posts today to counteract the so-called "effect" of the strike. so did a few other communities. which means SUPRISINGLY the effects of doing nothing are NOTHING AT ALL.

that would be the connection.

But in the meantime, I'll make a point of it in the next post, and also in the meantime, if she's still paying attention--snapwyre, meet my very dear friend, the little black ball of sunshine in my life, starlasoma. She is fierce and she does not back down, no matter what. This is, yes, occasionally irritating. :) But it's never less than engaging.
