If you ever wondered, 19 ounces seems to be the maximum amount of alcohol that can be formed into the Jell-O shot. gwynnthiere, you want to test this at some upcoming event? I'm sure we can coordinate Jell-O resources for use (or replenishment if you use your own), if you supply the alcohol ( Read more... )

When we remember to borrow the cam from the roommates?

We're so pathetically untechnological. :)

I'm working on making this work, damn it...I get tired of the defaults, but my understanding of CSS could still be painlessly carved on one thumbnail.

Wow, that means you can buy cheap underwear at Walmart! That's a big deal -- that's the size I stopped at. I was fearful that I wouldn't be able to find undies

When I dropped 85 lbs, I moved from a 4X to a 3X. I could probably wear a 2X, but I like my clothes loose (and haven't even tried on any 2X, as I can't afford . What fascinates me is that I've dropped one, maybe two sizes. Women in "normal" sizes can change more than one size in 10 pounds. How's that work???

Oops.

I claim spousal distraction.

Right. No money. Or rather, what little money we have is rapidly leaving, and there won't be more, and yaaagh.

And undies? Really hard to make by hand for some reason...I need a pattern, goddamn it, or to get enough pairs I think I can cut apart one of the old ones and use IT for a pattern.

As far as everything else...half of me's afraid to cut down the clothes that don't fit and make new ones, and half of me wants to start. What if I gain the weight back? I'm toast. But what if I keep losing?

It's causing argh.

Well, what changed to cause the weight loss, and is that change going to continue? If it is, you're probably safe taking down clothes.

My weight loss started with the renal failure, but also because I came off of an antidepressant that acts like THC; you feel mellow and want to eat all the time. However, I've worn most of my clothes out; once Hubby is working I can buy a few new(er) clothes.

And I hear you on making undies. Not simple.

Hazzah for the weight loss!! I'm currently in 18-20's, depending on
the manufacturer. I'd like to loose some more, but I'll really have to "work" on it, rather than just pay lip service to it:/ *sigh* I *like* bread..and pasta..*whimper*

Okay, you wanna know the sad tragic thing? Apart from potatoes--I'm Celtic, I married an Irish lass, c'mon, there WILL be potatoes--I'd managed to eliminate a lot of the carbohydrates.

Then we moved in here.

Pasta. Potatoes. More pasta. Cheese. Tons and tons and tons of cheese. White bread--gaaack, white bread.

And I'm losing weight.

No, I don't get it either.

That jello shots experiment was pretty interesting, as were some of their other adventures. :)
