(What, no Muppet Show fans? Never mind...)

So here's the thing: I'm beginning to believe that BitTorrent is cursed. I'm not going Torrenting again unless there's damned good reason. zebragrrl downloads a Torrent, I get Spy Sheriff. I download a Torrent--coincidentally, lemmealone, that selfsame anime you were raving about some while back, for which I still need ( Read more... )

I hadn't heard of finger lucet, or finger even, or finget lucet, so obviously no. :)

I'll go look into that.

I love how you think I have friends that would bomb places...

I could probably pick up 5 or 6:D

Well, I don't know, in some things I'm assuming you're like me--in a pinch, and given time, money and arguing, I know a small handful of people I could talk into it. Is the thing.

Not that we're talking about doing. Anything.

A friend of mine has a good lawyer friend in London. . . not that anyone would need a lawyer or anything. I'm just saying.

Well, it's always an option.

Just in case anyone might need a lawyer.

For any reason.

I now have a nifty 17" Hewlett Packard Pavilion M70 monitor

I'll have you know I didn't sneer even a little bit... It's better than what you had, money's tight and probably will be tighter, so that's a fine monitor. Can it do 12x10?

I must say that I find the UK/London comments quite amusing. If there was something to be amused about, not saying that there was...

Heh

Actually, it will, but I currently have it set for 1024. Anything more and I have to wear glasses to read the screen. :)

And, considering it's a bigger monitor and not on a monitor stand that 'backs it up' a bit...I'm now less than eighteen inches away from my monitor. If the print is small enough to need glasses for something eighteen inches away...I'm obviously doomed.

I am made happy by the fact that there are potentially willing souls to take action...of some unspecified sort...for, you know, general unspecified reasons... :)

I suppose you'll probably be frightend of the fact that my screen is set for 1600x1280...And I've contemplated bumping it up to 19x14 just because I NEED THE SPAAAAACE. (I keep running out of room to park things that are open) :)

Yeah, but how fast is your processor? Remember, mine's only 850 mHz. And I'm deeply conditioned by years of 250 and 400 mHz to not have more than six windows open at any given time.

I even do that at work, where the wireless network feeds me very nearly seamless transitions, and could potentially be pushed. But it's ingrained at this point.
