Keeping up with the friendslist can be a pain. I have around 500 on mine, and, yes, there's quite a bit of skimming on some days.

And ripped white trousers and a bandage 'round my breasts? Just the thing for work tomorrow, I think.

Oh, yeah--doesn't that just scream, "business wear"? I'm sure it's going to be the next big hit in the boardroom.

I swear to gods. Fashion shows are totally, totally useless. They show off crap that isn't wearable, they show off total crap that isn't even an attempt at clothing...

I hereby swear, if I get the time and the funding, I will design and show a line of fucking realistically designed clothing and knock all the damn freaks off their chairs when I start taking orders at the show for stuff that people can ACTUALLY wear. You'll be able to tell it's me, because I'll have a couple of items called NemaWare that will be shiny black, and come in plus sizes... And will actually look GOOD on models that fit into the damn PLUS sizes.

Ahem. Sorry. I couldn't contain that any longer.

Heh.

Thanks...

Although there is some debate about the human-part of that...

Human-type meaning humanoid is pretty safe though...

Oh, my, no--you?? Ever culled? Get real.

See, even with a culling, I'm probably still going to have a massive flist--'cos I like reading about a lot of you. Dern it. :)

Helena's begging to be his dog is one of my favorite scenes too, but I think my favorite version is Flockhart. Something about it just makes me giggle and want to shout "You're not the dog, you're the bone"
I hope you don't cull me. I hope you read me occasionally. That's ego of course. I love reading your journal, and I've got under 50 friends and find it hard keeping up sometimes. (uh.. obviously I mean my alter ego, this one has about 6 friends and a few hundred people who check it occasionally because it's linked to my webpage) I was debating an iconage filter for people who like my icons. Would you like to be on that filter?
Serenity: Mike and I were watching the news yesterday, and a young man said that he wanted to be a Marine to help America protect the world, we are like the world's big brother (not an Orwell fan I guess) and Mike said "People don't like to be meddled with" I think that's going to be my favorite quote from the movie for a while.

Are you kidding? Barring October--which I told you about last year--you made my Constant Default Icon, after all.

Nah, you wouldn't be culled. I'm not talking about you or Trace or Sphynx or Poppy or Hank or Charles or starla or ren or Marcy or Moon or Mercury or Zilla or Joanne or Aelora or Ingrid or...basically, large swaths of the fandom community, the Contrarywise folk, or anyone who's ever written to me, or I to them...they stay.

It's the people on the edges, mostly the crew who signed up just for the fashions...I don't know if I'm going to stay friended to them. And I may trim down some of the icon communities. It's just getting unwieldy.

I keep up rarely, is the thing...if I set aside eight hours to do nothing but the scroll-back, I can generally catch up with the past two days' of output around 250 posts back. Otherwise, though, I have to read through journals individually, and--just hitting the folks I want to keep up with--that can, and has, also taken around six hours.

Generally if I drop two hours in the morning, two hours in the evening, and then two to four hours after Cat goes to bed...I keep up.

Very draining. And I haven't been doing it the past...coming up on three weeks now.
