Tired. Throat mildly sore from inhaling fog-machine fog in Ultrazone, Milwaukie, Oregon's answer to laser-tag. Fun fun fun 'til our knees gave out. Also? There is no air conditioning in Ultrazone, and today was veryvery, veryvery, veryvery HOT..

mutaytedjoe came out to see us, and I can talk more about his visit when he picks up his email. :) But he ( Read more... )

I had no idea writers were using the MPAA guidelines or that the MPAA was hassling them for doing so. How weird. I guess I should actually try and research the issue myself before bugging you with a ton of questions. :-)

The Alcohoroscope thing was cute. I'm going to have to post that in my journal too. I'm jealous that you get Johnny Depp, Angelina and Ice Cube as your drinking buddies. The ones I end up with are kinda lame for the most part.

Well, the RIAA has some power, weirdly, to prosecute people for insanely large sums, so...yeah, I have the potential to be boned for the rest of my life. But the MPAA thing, I think if I get nicked, I'll fight it, because they have no legal standing. At least the RIAA has several loophole clauses they can use to enforce draconian restrictions on music sharing; the MPAA doesn't even have that.

Let's switch to the Aussie system - it's more sensible than the American one anyway. :p
And they're probably too dumb to chase you about it.

Hmm. Hit me with the Aussie system when you get time. Or if I remember, I'll look it up.
