Well, historically yes, but if you're going back that far, we're all at some point Mesopotamian, or really, African--all life originated somewhere on the African continent.

I was simply saying my particular identifiable family branch is mostly Scottish, with bits of English, Irish, Welsh, American Indian, and French thrown in for good measure. :)
