I can feel it... that sensation of the mind elevating and becoming lighter by the minute.

I have obviously transcended the state of sleep deprivation into delirium.

That means: it's time for more coffee.

stress, school, all-nighter

It's an oddly liberating sensation, isn't it? Once I've hit that point, I kinda want to stick around and enjoy it.

Troubling, since medical science is pretty much unanimous in the finding that sleep deprivation takes years and years off your life.

But then, look what it did for Salvatore Dali.

It's a toss-up, I guess.

In a way it is because I don't feel as sleepy anymore; but at the same time, the toll that it takes on your mind -- I feel a bit retarded, like one of those situations where you'll have more difficulty articulating sentences in conversations and thinking logically.

I guess it's like a cross between being buzzed and slightly high? Does that even make sense?

Makes perfect sense. Thoughts are slowed and at times obfuscated near to the point of hallucination, but along with a sort of "second wind" sensation that you know you shouldn't be feeling.

But that aside: Good luck. ^_^
