Oh, crumbs, in reagrds to your friend. That's another reason I've waited - I've heard a lot of people have trouble driving at night after the surgery, and I already hate driving at night as it is. I'm terrified of having my eyes cut, too, and cannot watch at all if the surgery's being performed on tv. But I'm hoping that I'll get over it.

Isn't it astonishing what landscapers charge to do what they do?? Not knocking them, as I know it's hard work and all, but I'm always taken aback by what they quote me.

I'd love to get Lasik, but it would cost about $3500 for me and it's not worth it until my insurance decides to step in and cover it! Until then I'm sticking with contacts.

What all laborers charge continues to astonish me. Our contractor is charging quite a bit to build us a new shed, but I know that it's mostly a supply thing. Sigh. We keep telling my son and daughter it would be fine if they wanted to skip college to become a plumber, electrician, or a stone mason.

I wish my insurance would cover Lasik, too. You'd think it would save money for them in the long run, but I guess not.
