I got to pick up my tickets to the Police concert on Friday. Yay!!!! I'm starting to get a little excited. We're now trying to figure out the whole transportation plan - do we dare try the T? Have you seen her? I think I have a bit of a crush on her. But who wouldn't?

I wasn't that taken with her until the video for "Hips Don't Lie" where she (or at least, I think it's her) has her back to the camera, swinging those hips. Aiiii carumba!

If your mom is anything like my mom was, then you are quite possibly still shaking slightly from whatever led to that apology. Because of that, I think you should just for once do something completely for yourself, which means getting that hotel room so your Police experience won't be hindered in any way. You can spend the rest of the year skimping on something minor to make up for it, but I firmly believe that you need to have a smooooooooooth night so that your memories of that occasion will be nothing but euphoric. Seriously, how often do you get any real pampering? It's not like you get to do stuff like go see the Police any old time you feel like it. This is a Major Event!

I wish I could convince my hubby otherwise, but he is not willing to fork over the $139 or so to stay overnight. The main reason is we are going away in a couple of weeks and staying in a nicer hotel when we do so :) We're just going to Connecticut to visit some of my family, but it's still a little on the expensive side. In any case, we decided we are going to fork over the money to park - public transportation is too unpredictable on a Sunday night in Boston.
