it's that time of year again. the time of year where you learn the horrible truth: you became invested in a new show only for the network to cancel it ( Read more... )

I know exactly what you mean, hun! I was practically itching after TSC this week, and then i was barely on LJ for 10 minutes when i read a post from ONTD saying it and Ringer had got the boot!

I've been scouring the web for bits and pieces about it, and apparently there's an uproar all over the net about TSC and there's more than 3 petitions and a couple of sites already up for getting MTV and ABC to try and pick it up too.

Try here, babes: http://savethecircle.tumblr.com/

There's another site i saw last night, but i've lost the link :S

i don't know about pining my hopes on ABC. if any network would have kept a show like TSC, you would have thought it would be CW. SyFy or ABCFamily would be a good fit though, basically anything but a major network... "once bitten, twice shy" and all that

Aw, man, they canned Alcatraz? Pity; it was a good show with a lot of potential.

Thanks for the head's up about Awake. I was considering giving it a shot, but there isn't much point if it's already been cancelled.

yeah, i'm going to keep watching Awake until the finale, even though im 99% certain there will be no payoff. this is exactly why every year i consider not watching any new dramas until i know its fate for a 2nd season.

I am so upset about GCB. I adored the show, and it just kept on getting better. I am disappointed about Alcatraz and The Secret Circle, too.

that GCB finale had me wanting more. so much possibility with each character. i didn't think it was in danger of being canceled which makes it even harder to understand.
