First to comment? *cheers* I'm thoroughly enjoying your fic! It's wonderful and I'm glad you decided to continue it. I especially love your Jack - his little snippets are perfectly in character... And I have to admit that sexist, jealous Will is one of my guilty pleasures. I've had it in for him since COTBP when he was trash-talking pirates. Anyway, I can't wait to see what Elizabeth's dream foretold. Eagerly awaiting more!

I think no one's commenting since I periodically disappear into the abyss and forget to post for months-- literally-- at a time. It's getting to a point where I seriously think I need an "excuses" icon.

I rather picture Will, pre-AWE, as very staid and proper especially because of his pirate connection. It's kind of like having hippies as parents and shopping at Banana Republic and attending business school. He wants to fit in and he wants Elizabeth to, as well. It irks and confuses him that she doesn't want to have a damn thing to do with polite society. It's ironic, because there's no way in hell they'd be together otherwise. He misses the details a lot.

I'm going to try to post another chapter because I've been pretending I'm a Luddite for the last 7ish weeks.
