Recommendations/Fandom: Wanted - Remus and Narcissa Fic and Art

May 15, 2005 01:46

So it has occurred to me that there is a pairing that I really adore. I don't know why I adore it, or how common it is, but I know that it was born(in my case) over m&ms. That pairing, platonic or romantic, is Remus/Narcissa. I've seen a few pieces of art and been reced a few short fics, but I haven't found much else out there. I would really like ( Read more... )

I also ship Remus/Narcissa. There honestly isn't that much out there atm.

There are some Remus/Narcissa recs on my Narcissa Rec list. I've also written a few pieces, which are listed on my master list of fic list. There's an LJ community for the ship here: moonlight_rl_nm. Hope this helps!

Mmmm wonderful! The list was especially helpful. It's sort of odd, after searching for about an hour through the recommendations, I think the list I'm compiling may be the most complete I've seen... there's quite a bit of this ship scattered here and there.

I'll let you know when I've put up the rec list :)

If you're interested, take a look -- it's growing very quickly. It's sadly scant in the art department though...

From the point of view of a H.P artist, and fellow shipper, I find the lack of art appalling. Um, I need to go and speak with my muse...*cough*

Gratitude by violet_quill is Remus/Narcissa in a rather different situation than usual. It's NC17 and about 3000 words.

thanks for the rec! I'll let you know, if you're interested, when the list is up.

I only have two recs and a couple drabble-y things I wrote to contribute:

For the Taking - Tarie
Remus/Narcissa with hints of Remus/Sirius. He wants her, but she is a Slytherin after all, and Slytherins (and Blacks?) never quite tell the truth… - NC-17

Visage - Dorotea
Narcissa wants something from Remus. Remus knows it. But that doesn’t stop him from allowing her her way. - PG13

The Lady and the Wolf & The Boy Who Knew Lonliness by me
Little drabble versions of a longer AU story aobout them that a friend and I are working on.

Very nice. I've seen the one by Dorotea, but not the others.

I hope you'll let me know when/if you post the AU story! I'd love to see it.

I'll let you know when my rec list is up.

I really liked the drabbles, I hope to see the story when it's finished!

Thank you. They were just there one day, so I had to write them. I'm glad you liked.

I've also recently got into Remus/Narcissa!

I enjoyed Salt by alkairis which is rated R. I wrote Gray which is basically gen. And that's all I've got.

It's an intriguing ship! Maybe not the most plausible for either of them, but it's also not the most impossible.

Thanks for the recs, I've seen Salt, but not Gray. :)

I'll let you know when I put up the rec list.

here you go -- I hope you find something to your liking.

I liked Gray, it just wasn't quite what I was looking for, I'm sure you understand that though. You said above the fic that it was supposed to be shippy it just didn't end up that way.

I've written one: Comfort. It's rather angsty.

angst is okay :) ::grins:: I'll read and put it up on my list when I'm done with the others

Heh, you were right about it being angsty. It was a good fic though.
