I just got caught up this morning; but wow, these last couple of parts pack a lot of emotional punches!

I thoroughly enjoyed this fic and I really enjoyed how you balanced normalcy against the crazy unrelenting nature of Section.

Okay, now that you have made me enjoy HR, can I go back to hating them irrationally? ;)

Nope. At least, not when you read my LFN fic. Not all of it will be quite as much of a mash note as this one.... but HR will always be there, one way or another. ;-)

I'm glad you enjoyed it - and that you were able to suspend your dislike of the characters enough to enjoy the ride. For reals. :-)

Wow! I enjoyed this so much, despite not being an HR. What was so compelling was the balance between danger and normalcy. The ending feels very right to me--they're still together, but Nikita and Michael have had to use their skills and bring Adam into their world. It's a little sad, but there's hope too.

So...how about a sequel? :)

Thank you! It is a wonderful compliment to make readers not normally inclined to love my OTC enjoy my story *anyway*!

The ending is actually one of the 'new' parts (as in, the story I had in my head had an unclear ending.... and then this one emerged as I wrote) -- so I'm glad it works for you!

No sequel - just the epilogue. I really feel that they'll be fine now, that they're going to be able to take care of themselves, and I've sent them off with all the tools they need. :-)

You've done a really great job making this a believable post-series turn of events! I especially liked the fact that Section will never completely cease to be a concern, lurking out there. Excellent all-around.

You are so cool! You read my whole mash note! :-) (mash novel? lol!)

The lurking section is entirely a product of me being older and, well, older. *snerk* The original story in my head never had that -- though it obviously had the space for it. Maybe I just didn't know, and it would have emerged when ever I went from images to words.....

Adam able to surprise Michael and Nikita! That's worth the price of admission by itself.

I'm so glad you wrote this. It was definitely the "more" the previous story needed. It all comes together so well, especially with the emotional difficulties. What would LFN have been without the crazy headtrips, afterall?

lol! Thanks for the icon-love. I have far too many. I think the Lena Horne set is by iconsofisis but I'm not sure.

Wrong icon-maker. The Lena Hornes are by
