I think it's cool that you celebrate solstice- I LOVE the concept of a celebration revolving around the sun.

Now days its more an early family Christmas get-together then a solstice celebration (we mostly just call it a solstice celebration as so many of us are atheists). Back when me and Bethan were kids we'd do more solstice like things such as hang out in the garden with lanterns waiting for the sun to go down.

That sounds lovely; makes me a bit nostalgic for hanging out in my grandmother's garden on summer nights when I was a kid, waiting for it to get dark enough for the moonflowers to open. :)
