Spent New Years at bro's place, am gonna try and get over my natural laziness and write more about that later. Bud and I drove there yesterday and we'd decided to leave between 11-15 today (AKA daylight) to make it easier to drive, what with there being reindeer everywhere and snow smoke being a much bigger problem when it's dark.

It was so weird! I mean, normally dreams will have some aspect that makes complete sense in the dream, but when you wake up you'll be all "how the hell did it make sense for me to talk to a banana peel?".

This time, I clearly remember looking at the clock on my phone, with the current drool-worthy Alex O background pic that my phone has, lying in the bed I slept in next to bud's bed in the room we fell asleep. SO DISORIENTING!

I always hated napping for a few hours and waking up at twilight only to assume it was morning twilight, not evening, and I was going to be late for whatever. :)

Ugh, naps are double-edged blades, sometimes necessary, but can just as easily throw off the entire day. When they're not completely glorious, that is. *looks dreamy*
