no, srsly. i'm late 20's and the SG verse has been in my life for 15 years. I know that sounds rather lame, but the only thing that made SG1's cancellation palpable was that SGA was so much FUN. It's my fav show, and now it too, will be gone... along with BSG any anything else remotely cool in the sci-fi world. *siiiigh* this sucks :( What will I do without my Rodney fix?? pffft movies. They're just a tease and reminder of what has gone :( :(
I totally know what you mean. I was truly heart-broken at the news of the cancellation of SG-1, because even if I wasn't active in the fandom anymore, it had always *been* there, ready for when I felt like getting into it again.
And SGA was the first fandom I was there in the beginning of, when you couldn't find a single fic to save your life.
Also, a movie doesn't comfort me, because the SG-1 movies haven't done a lot for me. It's like something weird happens with the pacing when they make a movie; it doesn't feel like a combined two-parter.
