Yes, I'm finally posting.

Yes. I was going to post this this morning Monday afternoon, but Lisa sent me that hilarious AMV thing and I had to post it. Offkilter06 and I were chatting on the SOVA forum and started a huge philosophical discussion about Giovanni and Diamondshipping so I didn't end up finishing the post

The weekend was okay, I guess. I know you guys are going to ( Read more... )

Those damn Drowzee. They're just so convincing.

Eh, Sebastian is *supposed* to be creepy, though. That's part of what's so lovely about his character. 'Beautiful invention' does hint around to it nicely...he lives in his own world and doesn't care if what he does is right or wrong. It's what he wants.

I especially love that third prom picture, where it's a closeup and you're kind of smirking at the camera? Awesome. Awesome dress. And I love that you brought Sneasel. xD

Well, of course he is. That's no reason not to like him, though. People usually say it like it's a bad thing. I mean, he's not like Sabrina with her doll and her possessedness and the turning people into dolls. Sabrina's creepy still gives me nightmares.

The third I took myself. I'm thinking of using it on my Facebook profile.

And Nekou had an important meeting with the boss that evening and didn't want Kali making moves on Persian, so she stuck me with her. Grr. XD

Eh, the only LoT hero I liked was Jackson and that's because he reminds me of JP from Digimon Frontier. Marina and Kenta were horribly annoying, and Eusine was...well, he's not Eusine, dammit!

Bashou seems pretty evil to me. Even the Marauder didn't have his pokemon attack the opponent directly rather than dealing with their pokemon instead. But most of it was how he approached things with a layer of pure ice, even dealings with his partner. And we know from their interaction that they get along quite well, so for him to act that removed from someone he's close with is quite odd.

Well, it was more the utter lack of psychoticness about Bashou that surprised me. He pretty much acted like "hey, business as usual." Unlike Sebastian ("Science turns me on!") or Buson ("Hey, look, I'm SOOOO manly! I am not insecure in my masculinity AT ALL!")

(Mind you, those are just the impressions I got from them. But by Rocket standards, Bashou's pretty sane.)

Which is kinda disturbing when you think about it. I mean, by Rocket standards, Domino is sane.

...She IS.

Unless she has multiple personalities or something. Even AFTER the disguise was off, she frequently switched from badass assassin mode to cute schoolgirl mode in the blink of an eye.

Yeah. Like, first mission in the game, Drowzee's all nice to Azurill, and he's like "I'll help you find the treasure" and then they get to the cave, and he's like "go steal that treasure!" and Azurill's like "but I don't wanna" and he goes, and I quote, "There's going to be trouble if you don't."

You gotta love how Nintendo continues to stereotype Pokemon as "good" or "evil" based on their species. (Except last MD, when Persian ran the bank. That was surprising, considering EVERY Persian on the show is portrayed as an antagonist- not just Giovanni's Persian, but the nasty Persian that beat up the boots Meowth, the contest Persian, etc- and the only trainer Persian you battled was Giovanni's in Yellow and FRLG.)

*giggles*

Sorry about distracting you so! But I love our TR chats! It's nice to be able to talk about TR without getting eyes rolled at me!

No, it's fine. I probably shoulda been doing my online algebra anyway. I'm happy to be able to chat with you anytime I get the chance. Don't feel bad.

James fangirls gotta stick together, right? Plus, the philosophical discussion made me feel SMART.
