RahXephon's good as long as you don't keep thinking to yourself that it's basically Eva with musical references. Which isn't easy considering it keeps throwing comparisons at you on a regular basis. If you're going to watch Lain, I demand that you immediately follow every couple of episodes with an episode or 3 of Excel Saga. Keeps the mind thoroughly off-kilter. Dark Cloud 2's good, but crushingly hard at times (i.e. most of the time) and the fact that you can't level up traditionally or increase your armour properly turns it into a game of "can I hit you before you hit me" (the answer often being 'no, no you can't'). And my love of P3 has already been well-documented, though I'd add Nocturne onto the list as well if you can find it. And don't be afraid of consulting a guide with that one, especially for some of the bosses. It'll save a lot of frustration and forehead slapping.
i have the Dark Cloud, Five Star Amulet, Supernova, and Grade Zero. but really as soon as you get the Supernova killing things just gets too easy in dark cloud 2, well any any laser gun really. i saw the RahXephon movie awhile back at my moms on the on demand i liked it though i had no idea what was going on. i remember nocturne i think that was on my old list and ill think about Excel Saga
