I picked up the 40th anniversary issue of Reason. I forgot how much I really like that magazine. Since it's an anniversary issue, the whole thing sort of had a perspective theme. I learned the magazine had very humble origins, like being started by some undergrad living with his mother or some such. One cool thing I noticed was the integral role

I finished this post in a hurry. Another thing I wanted to mention was Reason's ascent to general respectability. It started out as one of probably dozens of fringe libertarian publications in the late sixties. Now it's not uncommon to see Reason editors in the broader media. Cheers to Reason, I say.
