I can't say that I expect momentous change or nothin', but thank you, Ohio. Bye, DeWine! w00t.

Good job Ohio! And you did without me even being there to vote....

One thing, though - does it strike anyone else funny that the Democrats all but swept the Republicans in the House and Senate races, yet several more states passed constitutional amendments banning gay marriage? Oh, well. At least South Dakota did the right thing....

I guess Americans are bigots who are tired of war and scandal? Yay?

I fucking hate Pryce. Gah!

Also: homophobia is slowly being replaced as the biggotry du jour by Arabicphobia...I think the gay-issue is the last death throw of the far right running out--notice the push for immigration and anti-gay stuff in the last few session?

In the Columbus, Ohio-area, elections officials are delaying the count of more than 9,000 provisional ballots by one day so it doesn't disrupt the much-vaulted Ohio State-Michigan football game on Nov. 18. Pardon me while I die. Like, a lot.

notice the push for immigration and anti-gay stuff in the last few session?

Fear is the time-tested approach to a platform. I figure if the gays would just stop going into churches and peeing all over heterosexual couples who are trying to get married, the spotlight would move off them.
That is what's going on, right? I mean, I can't really think of any other way gays could possibly be affecting other people's marriages.
