The ongoing struggle

I have to keep telling myself that nothing is forever.
Sure, happiness isn't forever.  Love isn't forever.  Excitement isn't forever.

But pain isn't either.
Anger is temporary.  Sadness will pass.
And this?  This will pass too.

There's a lot of emotions tangled up in my head and sometimes it feels like a rat's nest.  I can't untangle individual strings

i randomly found this post and i have to say i am in complete awe. i feel so similarly to the things you have described its as if you wrote my thoughts. art is hard work when we try to over think it. in a sense, art is never yours because it is meant to be shared, but its also such a crucial part of the soul that passing it around seems so vulnerable. i personally am trying to make my creations image myself so truely that it will hopefully make me see the changes i need to make to be happier. so, once my creations feel more beautiful and strong, i will too.....hopefully!
