Summary: Sungmin makes a wish... and It comes true.
A/N: This Is Inspired by Earth Day (Tomorrow) and the Lyrid Meteor Shower tomorrow morning :)
Sungmin was depressed. He was tired and just wanted a break with all of the other Super Junior members including Kangin, Hangeng, and Kibum. When he got back to the dorms he didn’t see any one around so he decided to go up to the roof, sit, and have dinner.
After about twenty minutes he felt his phone vibrate, “Hello?”
It way Kyuhyun, “Hyung! I heard you come in a little while ago. I assumed you fixed yourself food but you haven’t come into the room. Where did you go?”
Sungmin smiled, so there was someone home, “I’m on the roof eating. Do you want to join me?”
“Sure I’ll be up in a second!” and Kyuhyun hung up the phone.
Sungmin looked up at the sky just in time to see a falling star. He made a wish and sighed, “It’s so beautiful tonight. I wish all of us could share this seen together.” About fifteen minutes later he heard the door behind him open and people talking.
“I told you he was up here Donghae! Why would I lie about that?” Kyuhyun said sitting a basket down beside Sungmin, “We haven’t eaten yet so we made something for ourselves.”
Another star fell from the sky and Donghae noticed it, “Hey a falling star! Quick make a wish!” He closed his eyes and wished.
“Donghae are you five? No one makes wishes on stars anymore” Kyuhyun said.
“I made a wish too.” Sungmin said smiling softly gazing at the night sky.
“Really? What did you wish for?” Donghae said sitting by Kyuhyun and getting the food out to eat.
“Silly Donghae! I can’t tell you! If I do it won’t come true.” Sungmin felt his phone vibrate again. This time it was a text from Ryeowook asking if he had eaten. Sungmin smiled and told the eternal magnae that he Donghae, and Kyuhyun were on the roof eating. But he had to bring his own food if he wanted to eat with them up there.
Ten minutes later Donghae’s phone range ruining the atmosphere, another star fell, “Hello? ... Hyukkie don’t freak out! I’m on the roof with Kyu, and Min! ... Duh you can come up here Teuk and Shindong too! Bring food if you haven’t eaten!” and he hung up the phone.
Five minutes later the door opened and Ryeowook walked through carrying a big basket, “I have lots more food if you guys are still hungry!” He smiled at the three of them and sat by Sungmin.
“Thanks Ryeowook, I think some other members are going to come up soon.” Sungmin smiled softly at the magnae hearing the other three coming up the stairs.
“Hey we brought more food and some blankets! Teukie thought we would get cold! And a surprise guest!” Eunhyuk said sitting by Donghae.
Kangin sat behind Sungmin and looked at the sky when another star fell, “It really is a beautiful night.” He sighed and made a silent wish.
The other four smiled at him and made their own wish. Five minutes later Donghae got another text from Heechul. He told Heechul to go up to the roof, there was plenty of food. Two minutes later Siwon and Heechul walked through the door as another star fell. They sat down with the others and looked at the sky making a wish.
The ten of them sat comfortably in silence watching an occasional star fall from the sky. Ryeowook texted someone but didn’t tell anyone and three minutes later the door opened and Yesung and Kibum walked through the door.
The others looked at Kibum surprised, “we didn’t expect to see you here Kibummie.” Donghae said.
“Well I was in the neighborhood and decided to drop by.” He smirked and sat down with the group.
“We’re almost complete…” Leeteuk said looking around at the members he’s grown fondly of over the years trying not to cry.
“Hey you can’t forget about us! We’re family too!” The twelve of them looked at the door startled to see Hangeng, Zhou Mi, and Henry.
All of them quickly jumped up and hugged them, “How did you know where we were?” Eunhyuk said tearing up.
“Well I got a text from Wookie saying we were missing an amazing view and the best dinner ever, and we should go on the roof of the dorms.” Hangeng said smiling sheepishly.
The other members looked at Ryeowook and several hugged him tightly whispering thank you, “I knew what you all were wishing for on the falling stars so I figured I’d make a few wishes come true.”
All fifteen of them sat huddled under covers holding hands and looking at the night sky watching stars fall. Sungmin smiled a bright smile cuddling up to a random member sitting by him. They all knew it wouldn’t last, but they stayed there all night watching the meteor shower not caring about their problems or schedules.
