It's hard...when your heart hurts...

Sorry that you're feeling disenfranchised with people, Cell. Two things caught my eye about your post, however. I noticed the whole thing is contigent upon how other people act. It seems like your emotions are based on how these other people act, and that is not good. Sure people can be jackasses, smokers, drinkers, vice-loving bastards, and generally assholes, but for their problems to bring you down simply because they exist is wrong. YOU control yourself, and unless one of these people personally drag you down into the doldrums of human squalor, they shouldn't mean a thing to you.
There are good people out there, Cell, they're just hard to come by in the Muskegon area.

Just try to keep in mind that people who break your heart aren't worth your time. And that things always seem darkest at night.

Things will look up in the morning. And there is someone out there meant for you. You are perfect to the one guy out there you're meant for. It's just a difficult battle to find him. But he's out there looking and fighting for you, too.

Just don't give up.

Very poetic...and all too true. Thank you D-chan, as always your insight is much appreciated.

...but, and i'm trying not to make myself out to be someone who condones negative emotion; a broken heart means you had something and you have pain for losing it, right? So that means a broken heart isn't always that bad? Sure, the circumstances can be bad, and make the person bad, but if not, maybe a broken heart just makes you feel alive. I dunno, every scenario is different, and i'm just rambling at some point....

I didn't say that having a broken heart was bad. It does make the person wiser.

But it's not something to enjoy, either.

It's something to get over and just remember for the next time you think someone would be 'the one'.

I feel that in some ways, what you wrote is hypocritcal. However, I know you're hurting from it, all the same, and as your friend, I'm sorry to hear that. As Demorg said, those that break your heart or hurt you...aren't worth your time. You can move on, we all can, just that first step hurts, because it means you have to give up certain dreams.

Just understand you can make new ones, and as long as you keep moving forward, not fixating on one person who hurts you and doesn't feel the same way, eventually you have a pretty good chance of finding someone. Good luck! We all need luck with this :).

Demorg is right, but my question to you and everybody else is why do you all think I'm talking about myself here? I'm talking about people in general and how watching it all pisses me off. And what part that I wrote seems hypocritical? I would very much like to know...and aren't we all hypocrites?
...Are you judging me? ...Don't judge me monkey LOL!
