Nothing much, RL taking over. Trying to get some papers done and read for tests since Thanksgiving is on the way and well never have time to do anything once family gets here. How about u?

I'm doing okay. Running around a lot trying to get things done before the holidays when I'm not working, and I've some visits w/ friends to look forward to next month!

Thanks for the updates! While I understand a little -little- better what Rufus is trying to do, Reno is still coming across as really a mess. I guess Aya doesn't have this problem because he goes on missions for Birman (not to mention that Yohji isn't Rufus) - and see? there's another story bit that you've got covered.

I've actually friended you, to boot. I don't do it often because of really convoluted reasoning (I feel like I should then read through all the postings and that just hasn't worked out for me). But I check in here every day or two, so... there you have it. Maybe this will be a source of inspiration after the new year, when things should calm down in RL and I can get back to the fiction. (I hope. %^{)

No, Aya hasn't had to worry too much about his hunger because of working for Reiji and Birman. Even during the first Shadows book, he had a couple of deaths to feed from to prevent what happened to Reno.

And I friended you back. ^^ I'm pretty odd about friending people myself - I feel intrusive if I just friend people out of the blue and usually wait until someone friends me first. I've set you up on the fics filter. Let me know if you'd like to be on my everyday and/or scanlation sharing filters.

Hopefully things will calm down for you so you can do some writing!

I finally had a chance to read yesterday (argh, I'm still so behind on everything and now you've posted yet another fic! I'm hoping to use the train ride to and from Mac's to get caught up on more things, so I may save the new fic for the trip) and am finally getting a chance to comment now ( ... )

Thank you very much. *hugs* I think the effect the FF7 boys (and girls) have on Shadows will play out over time, definitely not right away.

And one of the reasons I'm really enjoying the hell out of writing DR is that it is letting me focus on Crawford and his motivations. While on the whole he's without remorse, he does feel it sometimes, mainly in regards to the few people he counts as friends. I think he and Trowa get along very well; they're both very pragmatic, determined to finish what they started and mysterious.
