I'm so happy for your trip. Of course, like I said, a bit bummed I won't be able to selfishly spend the ~whole~ Otakon weekend with you but a fun family vacation always comes first. And hey, at least we get to split the time with you. We'll just have to rock it extra hard on Friday. :)

I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything works out with your passport. I know those things can be horribly slow... Michael and I were briefly looking into them for a vacation to Canada but I was like, "BUH IT TAKES THAT LONG

I know! I've even been a bit bad recently and I feel like I'm the worst pest ever on LJ haha. Oh! Hey! Since you've brought up Google+ ...what is it? One of my friends from graduate school sent me an email yesterday inviting me to it and I was like, "wait what the hell is google+...?" so I haven't accepted yet. Should I join in on this google plusing? And tumblr. Oh tumblr. How you're filled with emotionally-driven teenagers but I'll be damned if I don't love you for your simple designs and ease of posting art~

Well I'm definitely rooting for you. You'll have to send me an "IT'S HERE WHOOO!" text when your passport arrives. Otherwise I'll continue to have my fingers crossed.

It's basically another social networking site. It sort of functions like facebook, but you can be more exclusive about who sees your stuff. OH and you can post .gifs. I like it well enough so far, I'd recommend giving it a try. Also my family doesn't have it so I can post all my cosplay stuff fufufu.

AND TUMBLR IS BEING FLOODED WITH HARRY POTTER. I mean, I'm fine enough with Harry Potter, I enjoy the movies and all BUT SHUT UP. DEAR GOD ENOUGH WITH THE GIFS AND POSTS.

Its okay, I'm making up for it by procrastinating this paper I have due and its like due while I'm in NY so I have to get it done now

omg I feel you on the passport thing. I went to Germany in 9th grade and my passport came THE DAY BEFORE I LEFT. It was soooo stressful holy shit.
