And I totally agree about the refusing to drive. I so should've put my foot down on that one... but my advisor can find ways to make my life difficult after all.

Sounds like you had fun :) I don't remember the last time i saw a beach at night *sigh*. Well, to spend time on one, and not driving at 4am to catch a ferry from Ireland, anyway. Oh, and i've mentioned this before, several times: always, always, always pack your swim suit if you're going near a beach! :)
