Hello all! Just poppin by to ask for some critique on my art! This piece has been sitting in my art folder for a while now, and I just want it done. Originally, I was gonna have him sitting crosslegged, but that failed. Then, I wanted him to have his legs spread out and floaty and shit, but that also failed. What do I do now? Should I try again

I think for this, crossed legs would look good. My advice, I guess, is to google up some images with crossed legs and use those as references.

I don't see any freckles, but I've never considered Badou's freckles a big important part of him, so I guess it's really up to you.

Also, you didn't mention it, but there's something a little wonky about the arms, I think. A little short, maybe? IMHO there could also be some more color variation--shadows, etc.

I've tried crossed legs, but for the life of me, I can't get them to look right. So that's fail on my part. ;___;

I guess that means his freckles need to be darker... (I love my Badou w/ freckles! <3)

There is, but my mom and I believe it's because they're really skinny. I can see the "wonk", but unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it. (more fail... so sorry! T___T)

I think the wonk come from the fact that the arm from elbow too wrist are a little bit too short; plus you do not draw the muscle bulge which should normally show at the part where the arm is folded (dunno if I'm pretty clear u_u). Just look at a model with folded arms or ask someone to adopt the same position: you should see what I mean.
Also, though Bado is thin, he is muscled - rather wiry. Try to suggest his abs, and maybe the muscles on his arms.

Congrats on the guns, they are pretty well drawn though *_* And I like his relaxed face XD

I totally get what you're saying. In fact, I know what they're supposed to look like, but I am apparently incapable of actually drawing it. T___________T
The abs were in the sketch, but I forgot to include it (my bad). Oh, and his nipples... Hmm, I need a new memory. =_____=;;;
