tokidoki - when Italy meets Japan

I'd like to spend a bit of my time talking about an emerging brand I fell in love with: tokidoki
I don't know if you've already heard about it, anyway it's becoming more and more popular all around the world!
The creator is Simone Legno and he's an italian artist who got inspired by japanese iconography...

Is this popular there?
I knew tokidoki because of its collaboration with Lesportsac, but I thought it was an American brand because Lespo is an American brand.
The toppage of tokidoki's website is exaggerated but still looks like somewhere in Tokyo, mixture of Shibuya and Akihabara!

Well, in Italy its popularity is now raising... In Milan it's a well-known brand and there's even a store completely dedicated to tokidoki but in the shops of the other cities the goods began to appear just a couple of months ago!
The businessmen are american, so I think that in the US the brand is even more known than in Italy, even if the creator is italian!! XD
Yeah, it's definitely exaggerated, but that's why it's so colorful and cheerful! :D
