Stepping in the round - a rotational movement, the forward foot ALWAYS points to the enemy.

This is not the same as simply stepping offline. If one steps linearly offline then one must twist the body to face the opponent and one will not be grounded. If one steps linearly offline and places the forward foot so that it points to the enemy this will twist the knee.

Stepping in the round is a rotational movement that moves from a grounded basic stance to a grounded basic stance. No extra leaning, no overstepping.
