*pouts* Aw, I would've loved to see what you come up with...

I haven't watched the preview yet, I want to have at least a little surprise, even if I already know I'll cry like a baby in two weeks time ;-;

Yayz, a Rose-liker! I really don't get why all the BNFs hate her so much...

Oh, one of these days I'm going to have to write Doctor fic, I'm sure. Probably after the end of the series as a way of coping with the pain.

Rose is absolutely brilliant. I can see why she might have a bit irritating for a couple of weeks when she went through a jealous patch, but for the past few episodes she's been fantastic! I really don't know how I'm going to cope with a new assistant... a new doctor was alright because it was still the same person, essentially. But this will be a whole new character and a new dynamic and IT WON'T BE THE SAME.

But then Rose/Ten will be AU, and that's saaaaad. ;-;

I know, I really can't think of Doctor Who without Rose, but that might be because she's my first companion, and I didn't grew up with the show so I'm not used to the Doctor's sluttyness necessity to move on.

What I loved most about that episode, I think, was the very subtle allusion that Rose is no longer needed.

Hear me out! I have seven minutes before i leave work (*shifty eyes*...i'm working... honest...). here's the thing. The Doctor didn't do anything. Rose did all the hard work. The doctor got snatched away early on and it was up to Rose to fix everything. Yeah, he helped, but... Rose has grown to be his equal. The Doctor can't have an equal. Therefore, she has to die. She's lost her interesting-ness. I mean, yeah, she's still a great character. But the balance between her and the Doctor has grown to something that is no longer integral to the story and which cannot be sustained for very long. So... she has to go. It absolutely breaks my heart, but that was the subtle allusion I got from that episode.

The whole "loneliness" thing has been pounded into this season, hasn't it? 0.o

Aaaand... I don't know if I'm up to writing fic. At least... nothing so intense as a ficathon... 0.o We'll see. But best of luck to you, dear!

Yep, that's pretty much what the entire fandom has been saying through the entire season (well, not the Rose-haters. Those are only like "yeeeees, kill her, she's stupid." *sigh*). Ah, how I wish she could just go and create a detective firm with Sarah Jane (wait, I like that idea...), or something, but I'm quite sure she's going to die, poor thing (and I'm saying this when I haven't seen the preview for the finale, yet). *cries a bit* Do you reckon Replacement will be shown in the last episode? Like David Tennant got his five second cameo in Parting of the Ways? *crosses fingers so the Doctor can travel for a while with Jack*

Not as much as fricking Torchwood, it hasn't. *is bitter but is still going to watch the series in teh fall*

Aaah, come on. I haven't written that much for it either (and I'd like to do so before we have to put a warning to Ten/Rose for 'AU').

Mmm, I doubt the replacement will be there. There have been times when the Doctor has traveled without a constant companion for a looooong time. I think Sarah Jane was the only other one who lasted for very long. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm sure the BBC will tell us a week in advance :-P

Ahhh, yes, but the whole Torchwood thing is 1)an anagram of Doctor Who and 2)Just like the "Bad Wolf" thing from last season -- little clues all along the way. It would seem they're taking a hint or two from LOST 0.o Which makes me squee at the possibilities of LOST/Doctor Who crossover fic. Hmm.

Sigh, I know, I know. I have to wait till this weekend, at the very least. :-P

I'd really like to see the Doctor traveling by himself for a couple of episodes, to see him without any, uh, interference, let's say.

Well, in part, but in the other is just cheap for publicity for Captain Jack's spin-off series... Which they could have done WAY more subtly. 'Bad Wolf' was executed so very well, and it just didn't happen the same with Torchwood. But oh well, we'll have to see how it'll play in the finale. Mmm, LOST/Doctor Who crossover, shounds shiny. *prods* doitdoitdoitdoit
