Zoé translations!

Wrote a bit more for the nsn_roundrobin fic in my first class today. I couldn't write anything at the second class, since everyone was sitting way too close XD Also, I had a great dream yesterday, with mixed HP and Lost and with Sawyer-Remus (they were the same, in my mind.... for some odd reason.) in the shower having a brush with the dead in the form of his ( Read more... )

Sip, Mexicana. Es maravillosa, no? Me encantó esa peli. Y bueno si, me acuerdo que cuando vi Hable con Ella, me la pasé extrañando los subtitulos como no tienes idea. (aún cuando sería patético, subtitulos para Español XD) Aunque tal vez tuvo que ver el hecho de que haya sido pirata...

*hugs back* Let's hope you'll be able to understand them yourself in a while ^-^

ps. Spanish lesson: Did you notice how sometimes Solo has an accent and sometimes it doesn't? Well, that's why accents are so important.
'Solo' means being alone, and it derives from Soledad. 'Sólo' losely means just, as in : I just have one of blah blah. [/pseudo-teacher rant]

Hee, yes, let's hope ;) (I still can't understand any of Carla Bruni's lyrics (well... vague bits of them), and I've known French since I was 15! Except... well, I learned it in high school, and then did so poorly on my college placement exam that they made me start over again from the beginning :-P So technically, I learned French twice, haha -- and I haven't practiced it ONCE in three years, sooo...)

Ohh, I see... and I'm assuming the pronunciation thus changes -- emphasis on the second syllable in the first example, and on the first syllable in the last example? (as if that's not a confusing enough sentence for you...)

TEACH ME MORE, O KNOWING ONE! ;)

and I know you've said before that you have trouble with things like "in" and "on" in English -- would you like me to try to explain the subtleties of them, sometime? They're very odd! But I'll leave you be if you don't care about them ;)

Gee, you aren't kidding about the nonsense lyrics, are you? Very ... evocative. But you've got another convert - I went ahead and downloaded all those I hadn't snagged last night.

Oh! Spanish lessons (sort of)! I actually knew some of this before I looked at your translations! Go me! Especially since I've been a bit lax on my studies. :( *is ashamed* Thanks for doing this, sweetie. Also, I've snagged some of the music from the previous post (you and Terra are totally my music dealers ;D).
