All of this! The humans were terrible. Oh, let's wait until my wife comes out of the area full of radiations and everybody else gets exposed... Oh, let's explode a huge-ass bomb, it's not like the radiations are going to kill us all dead... And so on, and so forth.

So true about Godzilla. I'm glad I saw the monster parts in the theater, but the human parts really tested my patience. And it wasn't just the writing - comparing it to Pacific Rim reminds me that in Pacific Rim, all the performances were within a high-energy pulp key, while the performances in Godzilla were directed all over the place.
