I went ice-skating today! It was awessssome. I absolutely love ice-skating, but I hardly ever get to do it, which is sad. It started snowing a bit while we were in the rink, which was a bit surreal, and it's pretty much the only place in Leeds that still has small mountains of snow surrounding it, which is probably in purpose - it works a hell of a ( Read more... )

We do too back home but I hardly ever go. WHY SO LAME, SELF.

Even considering last season (and it's teary finale of tears tears tears), it's hard to think of Torchwood as anything other than LOL, CRAPPY ALIEN HUNTERS.

If you look awesome up in the dictionary, it totally says Barney. IT DOES, OKAY.

I've watched the first 4 episodes of Fringe and I just can't get into it. Does it get better as it goes on?

It does! Or at least, I do think so - the latest episode was sort of bland (and ridiculous, even for Fringe), but episodes 6 through 11 were amazing.

aww ice skating

I thought Gossip Girl was insane this week. I laughed a lot more than I should have. Then again, I recently watched a comedy where an episode had the most pathetic orgy party ever, complete with potluck buffet, so I kept on thinking "where's the buffet?" during Chuck's scenes.

I will explain Lost to you if you want. hahaha
that guy with the skeletal bone structure in Fringe plays a minor role in S4 Lost

Heroes s1 is so rewatchable, while the first half season of s3 starts great and then descends into failfailfail before actually regaining some goodness at the end. It's very hard for me to lose faith in a show, but yeah. The lastest episode was okay, nothing fantastic besides a few moments.

I don't watch Fringe (although the Bishop characters seem interesting, I'm just not much for science procedurals, even crazy ones) but I know a few LJers into it. There is also capslock_fringe.

Ahaha, CHUCK'S ORGY PARTY. It was so ridiculous, and the way it was all supposed to be all ~mysterious~ and zomg, ~ominous ~ was totally failboat.

I've been saying I'll catch up with Heroes since October, and I just keep putting it off, haha.

Ohh, the Bishops are made of shiny - FINALLY the mad scientist is actually completely insane, yay! And, well, I do love conspiracy theories, that might be why I'm liking it so much.

Torchwood! Gratuitous boykissing is gratuitous! And it does look like it could be rather awesome... but mostly I just don't think it makes sense with Martha Jones? Eh, idk. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her in S4, plz BBC.

Gossip Girl, ha. Everything but Nate/Vanessa and Rufus/Lily are laaame right now. And that's coming from a Serena fan. And I'm a Dan fan too, actually, he gets too much hate. And I love Serena/Dan. BUT EVERYTHING APART FROM NATE/VANESSA AND RUFUS/LILY CAN GDIAF RIGHT NOW.

(Also! Fringe. I watch the first 5 episodes and then... stopped. Even though I really, really liked it a lot. I think I'm going to start from the beginning again because Band Of Brothers has re-invigorated my old Kirk Acevedo-shaped love from Oz. And Joshua Jackson is forever my tv boyfriend, ha.)

But Martha won't be appearing this mini season, will she? I don't GET it, though, whoever decided it was a good idea to make 2009 the more Who-less year evah? (if, you know, don't count those dark times in the 80s/90s, whatevs) It is SAD.

I sort of lol'd at the end when Dan slept with the teacher (that totally looks 16, haha, Serena looks older than her), but mostly I've been finding that storyline quite boring. Ah, bah. Nate/Vanessa I like in a sort of abstract way - I think they're cute, but that's about it, whereas I LOVE Lily/Rufus and squeed like a mad thing when they finally slept together. :DDD

Finish eeeeeet. It's so so good, but then again I do love me a good conspiracy story, so...
