This is very nicely done -- the inside of Tony's head may be a little scary, but I think it probably sounds just like this. His relationship with Pepper is also very well drawn, and the dialogue is excellent. (I particularly liked the image of Tony throwing french fries at Pepper until she tosses some back.)

Oh that was. Wow. I really loved watching Tony develop in this, recognize the limits of his will and maybe even enjoy letting things work out on their own for once. Your Pepper here is fantastic, her interest in tech, the fact that she leans in for the kiss again, and this, god:

She’s right, of course. He’d either get bored or end up living for it and she’d get tired or end up suffocated and it would. It would be so bad.

Thanks so much! That little moment in the movie, when agent, eh, coulson? sticks a little bomb thing-y to the wall and Pepper is all ooooh, cool machine thing! I LOVED that bit. Thus this, hee.

I think I like Tony/Pepper so much for its inherent fucked up-ness, haha, which says a lot about me, I guess.
