We celebrated my flamenco teacher's birthay today, so we had cake and filled the dancing floor with ballons. It was great. :)

Why? Date Night had all the funny scenes - Jean's talk with Scott about "only two things". "Not vaan of my better ideas" (And I have to murder the guy who writes Nightcrawler's accent. I simply have to muder him.) Jean and Scott sneaking 'round like teenagers. The grandiose - if downing - shot of Colossus and Kurt sitting on the car, in the rain. Very!Manipulative!Charles! (who's a sick, twisted, evil man, but a cool one at that.)

And a potential X-23. I have to admit, the main story is boring as hell - but the sidestories make up for it. (But since when is Kitty such a stuck-up?)

Well, yeah it did go into character devolpment and stuff, but I'm an art-loving freak, and generally, the illustrations can turn me off of story. Dunno. But yeah, I do have to agree, Ultimate!Charles is so damn creepy, he's very paralell to Magneto (which is interesting as hell in every single one of his versions).

Btw, I read X-23 yesterday, it was really good! It was real chilling and well constructed. (And I can't wait to see her in Ultimate, if she does appear in the end.)

Ah, yes, I see. Thankfully, I'm rather immune to that particular issue, because I know I'm worse. *g*

Yes, yes, indeed. What creeps me out is that Magneto as well as Charles have the same goal - the replacement of the homo sapiens with the homo superior.

I do hope so. I like X-23 far too much. BTW, I liked the last shot - it appears she was at least for a time at Xavier's, doesn't it?
