when Real has to stay on the sidelines and let Vincent do the taking (and the smiling) - you meant talking, right?

Oh, and I don't have to say I love this, do I?
Loved the way it was still open - like we don't know what they did after skin on skin; like we don't know whether Real'll shoot him, in the end, or not. Oh, and I like the idea of free will - that's what the series is about, isn't it? For Vincent the freedom to be Vincent and for Real, well, to be real, and not one of those deaf-mutes. (I like GitS for bringing Salinger back to my mind. It's an excellent description of the model citizens [pah!] of Romdeau.)

I do think open endings are the only thing that would fit without seeing the entire series. And yeah, they'be both grown so much since they left Romdeau, it's like their finding themselves out there.
