I feel your pain about LJ. It took me forEVER to learn how to use it properly, but now that I have the hang of it, I feel pretty expert.
foxriver_lady is one of my best good friends on LJ (and she's coming to the States next week, and I'm actually going to meet her, I'm so freaking excited!). Her name is Sarah, and she will love your reviews. Don't worry. She has the Lincoln love flowing through her veins too.
Dom on John Doe....oh dear god. His hair! His beautiful hair. Just you wait. You will love every minute of his non-Lincoln-ness. As for his other films, they are all CRAP, really, Blade is the best of them. But he's so pretty, it doesn't matter....
I should probably stop over at Foxriver Lady's LJ and introduce myself to her too, she'll be getting familiar with me over the reviews anyway... I guess it's the Lincoln-love you mentioned that keeps kind of drawing me to you guys. I mean, who in this world wouldn't like to be surrounded by people who understand? ;D
As for you guys meeting - oh my god, you must be excited out of your mind, I'm really happy for you two! I know perfectly the feeling of making good friends through internet and how much it means/would mean to meet them in person.
Actually the John Doe download finished yesterday morning and believe me, when I say it took all my self-control to NOT start watching it immediately. I was just didn't want to watch it in the comatose state I was in yesterday - I wouldn't have been able to even produce fangirlish squees properly. So I waited. But today, oh today, today it's going to be me, the couch and John Doe all day long.
How's the John Doe marathon coming? One of my favorite episodes is when he goes to the sperm bank. Have you seen that yet?
There is actually a convention of Prison Break fangirls meeting in Chicago/Joliet (where season 1 was filmed) on August 13-14, that's when I'll be with Sarah. But we're also going to be with pamalax (who actually organized the whole thing), happywriter06, chanchito_z (who writes amazing general Linc/Mike fics, BTW), miss_mazzie, gizzie_mcgee, and spoiled_andrea. I think that's everyone whose confirmed to meet up/go. I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun!
Darn, if only I had entered this fandom earlier, I might have actually gotten into a plane myself and made my way to Chicago too! I've been planning a trip to US for a long time now, as I have some friends there too. You guys need to take pictures and keep the rest of us posted on what kind of fun things you're doing up there

she finally sat on my comp and started reading some MiSa fics, and to be honest, she's sat there ever since. So, here we've been, sitting side by side on computers, silent, pretty much fully concentrated on reading fanfiction.
LOL fan!girlies after my own heart!! i am a self-proclaimed fic whore! i discovered it in my first fandom and latched on to PB fic as soon as it started! it's worse than crack i tell ya! i love it all!!! canon, AU, any/ all pairing....as long as it's well written, i'm reading! there are some brilliant authors in prisneyland! that said, there are some terrible fic out there too! {{{shudder}}}
i love a good angsty story. my main OTP is michael & dr. sara, but i'm NOT one of those batshitcrazy misa shippers! other pairings are just fine with me as long as the author makes it believable to me. example: domfangirl's sweet misery. i never really thought about michael & veronica together other than 'big sister/ kid brother' kind of way. but SM totally blew me out of the water! hot, hot, hot & so believable! makes me need a

I never used to read this much fanfiction before - I mean, I've read some X-files, Star Wars and random others, but I never had this kind of drive for it, so PB is definitely different - Prisneyland's brilliant authors really got me.
I'm a sucker for angst too - can't get enough. As for OTPs, I don't really think I have one... I'm going somewhere between L/V and L/J, but maybe season 3 finally gives us Team Lincoln -girls a love story to remember, 'ship and write about. ;)
I'm working on reading through domfangirl's fics, but since there are plenty, and I don't want to rush because her stuff is oh-so-good, I still have Sweet Misery waiting to be read. Now that I think about it, I actually realized that I haven't read any M/V stories yet! I really need to fix that
