two women and one man on the hillguitarchick704September 20 2005, 13:18:04 UTC
...but the three persons on the hill was created as men by the artist and not as genderless figures. perhaps the artist had some intent in placing three looming men over our campus and no women. the poses suggest that these sexy metal men possess knowledge and authority which may be to represent the student population here at fredonia and in so doing, gender identified them. i feel that this "portrait" of the students on campus would be more accurate if it were two women and a man on the hill as to represent the ratio of men to women on this campus. so, maybe the artist was trying to suggest something about gender inequality on our campus, or this says something about the artist and how they think...or i am babbling...hehe...
