I rewatched ATLA this week. I somehow thought that since I'd seen it before I wouldn't feel the need to tear through all the episodes all at once, and yet there I was, watching Sozin's Comet at five in the morning, AGAIN. Oh self, you are so predictable

LOL I kind of liked Face/Off, TBH. It was ridiculous, but LOLzy. IA that Boiling Rock is basically the greatest thing ever, though.

You've seen The Shawshank Redemption, y/n? It makes me cry ridiculously every time I watch it, but it's a great prison movie.

I should watch Face/Off again! I mostly only remember those boots (well, and the face-stealing. HEY THAT WAS ANOTHER THING THAT ATLA DID BETTER) and how I wanted to use them to play the world's most epic game of freeze tag.

And yes, I have read/seen it many times! I used to watch it every time it was on cable and I had a cheap paperback of the book that I would read and then end up hating because I would be forced to read Apt Pupil after finishing Shawshank. God, Apt Pupil is so fucking freaky. DDDDDDDD:

I've never read the book or Apt Pupil so I cannot comment :( I fucking love the Shawshank movie, though. I think it caused me to also have a love of prison escape movies, because I watch them all the time now.

Shawshank is the first novella in Different Seasons and Apt Pupil is the second, and it pretty much ruins the happy buzz you get after reading Shawshank. I wouldn't really recommend it, even though I do compulsively reread it everytime. :D:
