Neither. Avast Antivirus, Lavasoft Ad-Aware, and Spybot Search and Destroy.

I second the Avast rec. It's free and powerful ... and I haven't had a problem since switching to it.

I've had good luck with AVG free and Ad-Aware free catching anything I've picked up.

AVG's latest whether pay or free sucks big time. I was a paid AVG user up until this time. I am going to switch to Avira that my partner just got for her brand new, Gigantor, ginormous Windows 7 machine that she develops on. They have a free version, too ( ... )

We use Clamwin for free.
