Ok, I can die now... I saw The Gathering in Montpellier last week. I was a teary mess from the moment Anneke appeared on stage. She was mesmerising. I didn't want to close my eyes for fear of missing a moment. Both tones and I were blown away and have been on cloud nine since ( Read more... )

I'm so happy that you got to do it!!!!!

Wasn't it so fucking amazing! I was also in tears, I sang along to every song. It was so wonderfully intense and beautiful.

It was totally surreal. It felt like my whole life had climaxed, and I didn't want it to end. I tried not to even sing the words, because it would have drowned out her voice.

The French crowd was so energetic... seeing burly, straggly, gaulish types windmilling to Liberty Bell... the poor band must have been wrecked...they were coaxed back onto the stage 3 times by the crowd.
I swear she was looking straight at me man!

Can't wait to share experiences =)

I was thinking of you during Liberty Bell because it reminded me of the time at a Blackout when Matty had played it and Alys, Shanne, you and I were zoning out on the dancefloor, and I opened my eyes, looked around... and it was just such a touching moment =)
