Happy St. Patrick's Day, I guess. Until this morning, I was as excited as a fat kid on Easter, and would jump at any opportunity to drink to the good people and my Irish heritage. It's taken me years to get over my issues with christianity. It's not christianity that I have an issue with any longer... it's the cloistered and weak-minded people who use it as a cover for their heinous actions, or those that feel the need to shove it down your throat.

Agreed! It's the same way with most religions. You always get those assholes who wreck it for everyone else. In this case I'd say that the Chatholic church did a lot to destroy the idea of Christianity in the eyes of the rest of the world, reason being, it was never about God, it was all about power over the people. What they have done to people throughout history is unforgivable.
