Soul Eater!!!!! Yeah, that's been a naughty influence on me, too ;) It gave me an idea that has since eaten my brain, but it's such a blast to plot that I don't want to stop. In turn, I've been watching and rewatching episodes like crazy to keep the plot flowing.

Having been an insomniac all my life, at least I can actually function on, like, 2 hours of sleep. Like today....

I loved Soul Eater so much I had to read all the manga that was online (until it got yanked from the site it was on). The anime followed the story really close up to a point then deviated into different territory, but was just as good as the source. The art work was the same, and Death the Kid turned into a major kick ass in the manga. Might have to start rewatching it again. Might even share the beginning of the story I started with the Pegasus Irregulars. ;)

I only know the anime, but my sister told me about the Manga (why, Crona, why!) Love Kid to itty, bitty bits (Symmetry!:D). I'm curious to know what you thought of the very last ep. I was rather "Wha????????" myself. I'm wondering if they'll do another series that follows the Manga. Apparently, Full Metal Alchemist did that - deviated from the Manga, only for there to be another FMA that followed the Manga. I would really like there to be more Soul Eater.

D-Gray Man is another naughty influence I highly recommend if you don't already know about it ;)

Oh, yeah, I'm on the D-Gray Man boat, too. And Full Metal Alchemist. I am loving FMA to pieces, going to be sad when that one's over.

Last episode of Soul Eater, think think think.... Oh, yeah, that's right! Maka became a weapon herself! Yeah, that was a humunawha? moment for me, too. And I loved it when Kid's 3 stripes became symmetrical.

It was an awesome storm, lasted more than half a hour. The only thing I really miss about living on the prairie is being able to see the big storms rolling in from the Rocky Mtn front.

I give up on my doctors - apparently I don't speak a language they understand and am nothing but a whiny hysterical woman. Was actually told by my main doc, "Since [the pain] isn't life threatening, I'm not too worried about it."

Well, not life threatening to me.... Asshole.

I hear ya. About 3 years ago, when I had the ovarian cyst the size of my fist removed, I was still in massive pain, and my ob/gyn was going to get me a referral "right away" to the pain clinic here in town. Over 2 weeks passed, heard nothing even though I was checking like every other day and walking around all hunched over from my alien. Finally hear from the pain clinic, "We have an opening for you to come in [over 4 weeks from now]."

I told them to forget it, by then my primary had put me on Cymbalta, and it was working. However, it lost its effectiveness after 3 months, they upped the dose, the side affects were horrid, and it threw me over into full type 2 diabetes....

I'm really starting to hate doctors now. Why can't Carson be real, with a real Ancient scanner?

Soul Eater is an awesome anime series about Reapers and their living weapons who hunt down evil souls and destroy them. Death himself runs an academy to train them. All the episodes are on Hulu right now, and the artwork is really trippy and amazing. It's quirky and moving and just an incredible show.

Thanks! We've been having a normal spring - lots of rain and thunderstorms. Been really nice. Except for the tornado that went through Billings last month. Don't get many big tornados in Montana. Little ones now and then, yes, but not ones like that one.

I'm finally working through a year's worth of books I've bought but couldn't get the gumption to read. It's heavenly. Now if the writing muse would kick in for more than a few hundred words every other week....

Oh, well. The dreams, when I do sleep, are making up for that. :D
