Silly Dream

Apr 26, 2008 14:56

Had one a few nights ago, had to share.  John, Rodney, and McKeague (my character from my original stuff) were escaping from a base somewhere, don't know where, and they stole a vintage WW II bomber.  It wasn't a B52 (Flying Fortress), but the one smaller.  A B24?  Anyhow, John was just overjoyed that McKeague knew how to fly.  Of course McKeague ( Read more... )

You have the most amazing dreams! Mine often feature danger, but they don't have enough plot to be useful or interesting. They're just kind of upsetting most of the time.

I totally thought I wasn't a slasher--and then I found Torchwood. Well, that's a new experience!

I'm still very much a gen girl for both Stargates, though. One dream does not a slasher make, so don't worry! (I dreamt of the end of the world; that doesn't mean I want it to end, nor do dreams of death mean I want people to die!)

Ah, Capt. Jack Harkness.

...............................................yeah.

Oh, I have my share of stupid dreams, let me tell you. The one that had me waking up, sobbing, because my pet golden bat was sick. Yeah, don't ask. Haven't figured out THAT one yet. And when I have a nightmare that actually bothers me - hoo boy. It's a doozy. :-O Glad those don't happen often.

Though they do make good story fodder.... =^.^=

I love useable dreams. They make the best stories when tweaked just right.

Slash dream? Eww :P But, I agree, I wouldn't worry about it. Dreams are just thoughts tossed into a blender.

Yup, know what ya mean. Two summers ago I got an entire original novel off of one. Good and creepy, too. Gonna have to draw a picture of the demonlings that were running around....

It was funny seeing John in an elf themed bathrobe at the end of the dream. Heh. He was so embarassed. Couldn't be a studly LOTR themed one. No. It was Christmas elf themed.

Ahahaha! Oh man, I wish *I* could have such dreams! Or, if I have, that I could remember them . . .

Yeah, not a slash fan here, either, but, ah - at least it was funny! :-D

Everyone's talking about Torchwood. Torchwood, Torchwood, Torchwood. What IS Torchwood???

(Okay, I *have* picked up a little bit - BBC TV show, sci-fi, Jack Harkness and some guy who used to be Spike on Buffy, homo- (or bi- ?) sexual relationships for the main characters - but it's all a big jumble to me.)

Oops, sorry for the little rant.

S'okay - rants are allowed around here. =^.^=

I haven't watched a lot of Torchwood - I've managed to miss the episodes with Marsters (dangit), but it's a spin-off from Dr. Who. And yes, Jack is bi (and immortal). If it's good looking, he'll do it (or has done it). :)

BTW: I'm inking in the Shadow and John pic right now. Something mindless that doesn't require as much concentration as reading or writing. I've gotten Shadow's face done from his eyebrow to his chin and as far back as his cheekbones.

Then last night, during one of the few times I was asleep because the pain pills were actually working, I had a McShep slash dream. Noooooo! I am not a slasher! That's just, just, just WRONG! Bleeegghhh!!

But, ah, um, it was terribly funny....

Well, on the rare occasion I do write something it's gen or het-ship but I read both (gen & slash) and of all the fandoms I follow McShep slash fic seem to stay true to all the boys personality quirks better than most of the other fandoms.

They can keep you entertained without resorting (devolving??) to the graphic 'icky' stuff.

I've read likethekoschka's stuff, and crysothemis', and enjoyed them, but I still prefer the gen meself. =^.^= Especially since I see John & Rodney more like siblings than anything else.
