But more seriously, Squalo is the member of Varia he hates the least. :|a He is LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS AND DERA STILL HATES HIM BECAUSE HE SUCKS!!1 but he's also Yamamoto's . . . rivalmentorsomething and is a capable fighter and, at least in the future, seems more inclined to actually be helpful to the young main Family than the rest of the Varia do. So he sort of grudgingly respects him in a way where it's all cool so long as his shark cooties don't get too far up in Yamamoto's business.
