So, I've been working on my people-drawing skills, and being more imaginative/less references picture dependent. Despite being agonizingly slow, at least I've had some success fun. ^^ And I'm beginning to love digital painting. Cool! I'd think trying to come up with an original painting not dependent on a reference would be very difficult.

Heh, yes, it's challenging, and I wonder if I'll ever really get there, because (except when I was a kid) I've always needed to use some kind of reference in order to keep things from looking warped. :P

That looks great! I'm impressed with the richness of the coloring, especially on the hair. She looks like a fun character!

Aw, thanks! I definitely gravitate towards vibrant colors (which probably doesn't help with the realism...), because they're just so purty. :3 I'm glad she looks fun! :D

Oh, oh! I forgot I hadn't commented on this!!! I LOVE it. Seriously, the way you do skin digitally looks like oil painting somehow--I am SO envious. Gorgeous! Also, she looks very 1920s! :D

*bouncy* Thank you! :DDD I really wanted to incorporate some sort of tech to add a more cyberpunk element to it...but only really thought of it as an afterthought. But I do love just drawing 1920s stuff. ^^
