Hey B, Sorry to hear about the chaos with the rents. Soon you'll be back at school and free to go wherever and do whatever you please without them being up all night waiting for you : )

Urgh, I know...I can't wait...this week is taking FAR too long! Although, it might be better that they forbid me from going out tonight--I think I might have a touch of the flu. Lovely.

geez, your parents are crazy!

here, try this technique next time, don't ask them for permission, instead tell them what your plans are...just be like, tomorrow this is what i'm doing...
thats what i do to my parents and when they say No to me, I act like i heard Yes.

and my parents pull that I have to wait up for you crap on me all the time, but i just say don't wait up for me, and they say they worry, and i tell them, fine then worry...

ya gotta stand up to the parents or they'll control you forever!

I didn't ask...I DID casually inform them that I would be going to Monroe on Thursday night. I also threatened to sneak out. After which, my father happily informed me that if I did so, I would never drive the car again.

ditto on pretty much everything mamta says. i stopped asking my parents for permission in like 9th grade. if you don't make a stand soon it'll be senior year and you'll be asking for permission to go the bar on breaks...and missing out.

Dude, I don't need permission to drink. Apparently, while my rents are okay with illegal drinking (well, mostly okay) they are against perfectly legal driving. What gives?
